Is Nationwide deceiving its customers?

Nationwide is STILL giving the wrong impression to the public as recently ruled by ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) that they are not closing branches. Mine closed in Tottenham quite recently; It’s an inner-city area that needs Building Societies on location; not 'close by' in more affluent and profitable parts of London that suit Nationwide. They’ve ironically left Santander and Halifax to pick up the pieces in this area in the wake of Santander making complaints about Nationwide’s misleading advertising about branch closures. When I looked at the society’s own website on 19th June this year (2024) the Nationwide falsely shouts that it is not closing any branches. Well the sign at the window directing pensioners and benefit claimants to travel to Wood Green or Walthamstow tells a different story.:
